Kim is the queen bee behind You’re Invited Weddings & Events, which she founded in 2003.  She left behind careers in interior design and sales management for multi-million dollar clients for her love of planning amazing events.  Since then, she's planned hundreds of Kansas City events for clients living locally, across the U.S. and internationally!  Kim is known for her keen eye for detail, ability to uber multi-task, the friendship and trust she builds with her clients and for making both the planning process and the day of a lot of FUN!  She’s the ultimate perfectionist, but also approachable, realistic and down to earth.

When not planning events, Kim spends her time with her husband (since 2000) and 3 kids.  Quite a bit of her non-planning time is spent being a personal taxi driver to all types of activities:  soccer, baseball, basketball, cheer, dance, trampoline, swim and dive.  Whew!  She also enjoys shopping, lunching, traveling, attending KU basketball games with her husband and let’s not forget her summer pool time!  Her friends and family know her as being the ultimate organizer of events and activities for all!
